Continental Wire Cloth Purchases 5 acres at Jenks Commercial Park

The new site will encompass over 30,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space.  Independently owned and founded in 2004, Continental’s employee base ranges from fabrication and manufacturing technicians to product development and sales.  The new site in Jenks will offer room for future expansion as the company grows.  George Martinez, President of Continental Wire Cloth, states, “Without a doubt, our new site will give us room to grow.  We will be better able to serve our existing customer base, and the increased manufacturing capacity will allow us to proceed with larger contracts.”

The company’s shaker screens are known for exceptional quality and durable performance, particularly in the oilfield sector.  Short delivery times and competitive pricing defines Continental Wire Cloth as a company that has a greater understanding of the drilling process, leading to exceptional product innovation.  As other American industries lose jobs overseas, Continental Wire Cloth is continuing to grow domestically, servicing both national and international customers.  Revenues are projected to more than double within two years.

The site is scheduled to break ground in fall of 2007 and is scheduled for completion by first quarter 2008.  “The City of Jenks proved to be accessible and forward-thinking,” said Martinez.  “We’re looking forward to our new space.”
